Funding for regeneration

Three projects in South Lanarkshire have been awarded funding totalling £1.77 million from the Scottish Government’s Regeneration Capital Grant Fund. Lanark and Hamilton East MP Angela Crawley has welcomed the funding which will be “transformational” for the towns and villages involved. Lanarkshire policemen should be recognised

Calls for two Lanarkshire policemen killed in the line of duty to be recognised for their bravery have been raised at Westminster.
