Commenting, Angela said:
“I am passionate about helping my constituents fulfil their ambitions, be it in through work, education or training.
“That’s why I’m delighted to be in a position to host my fifth Jobs Fair since becoming an MP, this time in conjunction with Clydesdale MSP Aileen Campbell.
“Too many people find themselves unemployed or underemployed through no fault of their own.
“Our jobs fair will bring professionals from across a variety sectors, including vacancies within the public sector, retail as well as third sector charities to Carluke. It will be a fantastic opportunity for people to meet employers and apply for vacant posts.
“It’s shaping up to be an exciting day and I hope hundreds of my constituents can make it along”
Following on, Aileen said:
“Our jobs fair is bringing together a range of employers, educational institutions and groups to showcase their work to the communities in Clydesdale.
“Whether you’re in search of a job, thinking of starting a college course or interested in a new career path, this event is your chance to discover employment and educational opportunities on offer.
“You will be given a warm welcome to what is the latest in a successful run of Jobs Fairs to be held in the constituency in recent years.”
