Community lottery funding

Recently, 10 well-deserving community organisations across Lanark and Hamilton East found out that they were successful in obtaining funding from the National Lottery Community Fund.

In total, more than £200,000 will go towards helping communities across the constituency.

The successful groups were Bothwell Futures, the Kilninie Club, Carstairs and District Gala, Carluke Men’s Shed, Healthy Valleys, St Mary’s Parent Council, Larkhall Men’s Shed, Bothwell and Uddingston Men’s Shed, Blameless and Uddingston Grammar School.

Congratulations to the successful groups.

Lanark and Hamilton East MP Angela Crawley has tabled Early Day Motions at Westminster to celebrate the contributions these groups make to their communities and the difference this funding will make.
