Christmas card competition

Lanark and Hamilton East MP Angela Crawley has launched her annual Christmas card design competition.

Primary school pupils from across the constituency are able to enter the competition which is being run in aid of Blameless Children’s Charity.

Pupils are asked to design a card on a sheet of paper or card no larger than A4 along the theme of ‘dream Christmas’.

Last year’s winner, Jennifer McAllion from Our Lady and St Anne’s Primary in Hamilton, was presented with a certificate, copies of the card and a bag of goodies from competition sponsors Tunnock’s.

All surplus funds raised as part of the competition will be donated to Blameless to help with their mission to raise awareness of the dangers of alcohol and drug use.

Designs can be submitted through participating schools or emailed to angela.crawley.mp@parliament.uk. Please include pupils’ names and year group with entries.

Commenting, Lanark and Hamilton East MP Angela Crawley said:

“I am delighted to be able to launch my annual Christmas card competition once again and I am looking forward to seeing all of the creative designs that pupils come up with.

“Blameless are a fantastic charity who do a lot of good in my constituency so I hopeful we can raise some much needed funds to help them in their mission.

“I would also like to thank Tunnock’s who have very kindly agreed to sponsor the competition once again.”
