Lanark and Hamilton East MP Angela Crawley is set to host the Hamilton Jobs Fair in the University of West of Scotland, next Friday, the 19th of August between 10am and 2pm.
Following on from a successful employment event in Carluke, the local MP is set to host her second jobs fair in the space of one year.
31 employers have confirmed their attendance, and Angela is hoping to bypass the success of the last event in which 340 people attended.
Commenting on the event, Angela said:
“I am passionate about helping my constituents fulfil their ambitions – be it in through work or training.
“That’s why I’m delighted to be in a position to host my second Jobs Fair of 2016, this time in Hamilton.
“Too many people find themselves unemployed or underemployed through no fault of their own.
“My jobs fair will bring professionals from across a variety sectors, including vacancies within the public sector, retail as well as third sector charities to Hamilton. It will be a fantastic opportunity for people to meet employers and apply for vacant posts.
“It’s shaping up to be an exciting day and I hope hundreds of my constituents can make it along”
