Hamilton’s MP and MSP welcome launch of town centre consultation

Angela Crawley MP and Christina McKelvie MSP have urged local people to give their views on council plans to regenerate Hamilton Town Centre.

South Lanarkshire Council have launched an online consultation and will carry out an engagement event.

The event will take place in the Regent Shopping Centre in the town centre from 10am until 4pm on Monday 30 April and Tuesday 1 May.

Council representatives will be on hand to answer any questions about the proposals and to gather feedback.

The draft Hamilton Town Centre Strategy and Action Plan is now available online and a seven week consultation period will take place from Friday 27 April until Friday 15 June.
